Pingdingshanxi Railway Station project

Introduction to Pingdingshanxi Railway Station:

Pingdingshanxi Station (平顶山西站) is located in Baofeng County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, China. It is a railway station under the administration of China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co., Ltd. and serves as an intermediate station on the Zhengzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway.

Construction of Pingdingshanxi Station started on March 15, 2018. It was officially put into operation on December 1, 2019, with a total construction area of 16,000 square meters.

Design concept of Pingdingshanxi Railway Station:

The theme of Pingdingshanxi Station is “Ancient Capital, Millennium Eagle City,” and the station design incorporates various elements of the Eagle City culture. The overall architectural design of the station is modern, simple, and spacious. The image of the “Jade Eagle” is symbolized and abstracted through architectural language, giving the impression of a soaring eagle when viewed from a distance. Many elements of the Eagle City culture are also reflected in the interior of the station, with the extensive use of granite in the interior decoration.

Pingdingshanxi Station has a transparent and spacious station building, filled with sunlight from all sides, allowing ample natural lighting during the day. Natural lighting is also a highly valued approach in architecture.
